Hi, I'm Filip! I'm a 17 year old high school student currently attending PORG, Libeň academic high school in Prague, Czech Republic. In my free time I like snowboarding, creating machine learning models, and developing all sorts of applications. I am currently interning as a ML researcher at the Czech Academy of Sciences and working on several other projects of my own.

Hello! I’m Filip Martinek, an ML researcher/engineer and full-stack software developer based in Prague. My journey in coding began in 4th grade with simple games, but it wasn’t until 7th grade that I became truly hooked. Since then, I’ve expanded into robotics, machine learning, and building apps and games.

By 9th grade, I developed a convolutional neural network to predict age and gender from facial images. Currently, I’m a student at PORG in Libeň and an intern at the Czech Academy of Sciences, where I’m working on a project to enhance standardized testing by predicting the difficulty of items in Czech foreign language Matura exams. I’m also currently working on apps of my own for productivity and fitness management.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy snowboarding, track and field, working out, traveling and playing guitar.
